On The Spot Precision Engineering.
As always our machinist Walter does a magnificent job of making the parts. He produces custom parts for the way I like to work, which means not only "must it work good, it must look good too". I have been working this way since the age of 18. Visit the "My Mentors" section to see why. The magnet holder Walter made for me came out absolutely perfect. I love working with this guy, because not only does he like to do a good job, he is also an enthusiasitc participant in the creative process. He likes to get in the loop and contribute his knowledge from a mechanical perspective, which I appreciate because I can't think of everything, and the more opinions I can get on a situation the better off it is for the project because it has to come out good for the way we want to use the machine. Normally when I do a project like this I like to get input from all of the employees involved no matter what their position entails.
The magnet and reed switch line up perfectly. (See Above) Now we are on a down hill slide. I am confidant this machine is going to work correctly once I am done. Now I have to take all of the wiring data that I derived from tracing the circuits and combine that with knowledge I acquired from my phone conversations with the service techinician from the machine builder, to finish out the machine so that it operates correctly in a jam free manner.
