Using software to communicate visions pens & pencils cannot.
We have a packaging machine that pouches ready to eat food products into tear open plastic pouches and seals them. We added another machine onto the main machine to dispense a separate product into the same pouch simultaneously. This machine had it's own separate output spout which was positioned adjacent to the existing product dump door. The problem was the existing catch funnel. It was not wide enough to catch the ingredients exiting from both points. We needed to have a new funnel fabricated that was wider. I had sent a rough sketch with some dimensions on to the fabricator via fax, but this was a complex part with many contours on it that were too difficult to define through metrology. So how can I get the fabricator to see what I see. I photographed the existing funnel with a digital camera and the used Adobe Photoshop to modify what we see into what we envision and then I E Mailed the photograph to the fabricator. Mission Accomplished!
