My job as an ET did not last long. A few months later I was promoted to the position of Supervisor of Building Equipment Maintenance (BEM)
It normally takes an employee an average of 13 years to make it to Supervisor. I made it in less than 2. But it did not stop there I was also an Acting Superintendant of Maintenance then an Acting Manger of Plant Maintenance. I covered the positions of other Managers Detailed to other
locations and I did this for very long periods of time with great results. They also sent me to more training as well.
My Supervisory and Management Training
Depicted above is the training center for Postal Supervisors and Managers. This was located in Potomac Maryland not too far from the USPS Headquarters in Washington D.C.
