Note: These next 4 pages describe the training that I was required to attend and pass in order to keep my job or to earn promotions inside the USPS. Please note that most of the Maintenance courses tested students weekly and issued a final number grade which was an average of all of the weeksattended. In some of the courses you could only earn the grade Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory. Even though I earned the SAT grade my test scores were high.

When I was interviewed for my initial position with the USPS, the members of the interview panel were impressed with my background in Industrial Electrics, and Heavy Machinery. Because of this they wanted to bring me in on the HVAC side of maintenance. I told them I don't have any training in that area. They told me: "Don't worry we will give you all the training you need and more, because we need guys that have an electronics background to work on this type of equipment." They were true to their word. See the list below.
