Felix the Cat TV cartoon from the early 1960s
This was a cartoon about a cat that could perform some heroic feats under pressure, but only with aid of his magic bag. What intrigued me about this magic bag is that again this bag contained devices not magic spells. If Felix was trying to rescue someone and he needed a full size crane he could reach into his magic bag and pull out a small device and unfold it out into a full sized crane. Felix did this over and over again in many different situations.
His two main enemies were the evil Professor and the Master Cylinder. They were always plotting one way or another to try and get the magic bag. In case you don't know it, Master Cylinder is also the name for the main hydraulic piston in a cars braking system. When you press on the brake pedal this opens the valve to a vacuum booster, which is a large diameter diaphragm operated by manifold vacuum, this applies pressure to push in the Master Cylinder, which drives the hydraulic fluid to close the brake calipers on a car.
