Hello Everybody: There is one last bit of business left from the Class of 77 Reunion.

This is the printing and distribution of the Commemorative Yearbook from the Class of 77 30th year reunion.

Many Classmates did pay the $35.00 deposit for this book and after the holidays we started reviewing printing companies to produce this volume. We have selected a firm and now it is almost time to go to print. Here is a summary of what this book will contain.

This book will contain the following: All the names, addresses, emails and a short blurb from our classmates on what they have been up to. It will also feature loads of pictures from the reunion and a DVD of the class play.

This book will feature much material that you will never see on line on the Rutherford High Class of 77 web site.

(I won't put the bios and addresses online because they are for our eyes only)

We make no profits on this project. 100% of the funds are devoted to producing the highest quality book we can.

John Gaffney who was best friends with Bobby Byrne has asked that I pass this along to you to email to our classmates.

On behalf of Bobby Byrne's family, and myself, thanks again for the turnout at his services and the good wishes that were extended during the past month and a half. I know the initial obits requested that money be sent to the St. Mary's football program, where Bobby coached with Mike Sheridan for the last ten years. Mike and the entire team turned out for Bobby's wake and funeral. It might seem a bit odd for us to donate to St. Mary's as the rival from up the street, but that's where Bobby directed his energies and interests.

So.....I called Mike Sheridan to see if we could get a bit more specific with donations in Bobby's name. Mike said the school has been trying to get enough money togetherfrom benefactors to build a weight room for the team. If you care to do so, we've set a very random goal of $5,000 which won't build a weight room, but it's a good effort. I've talked to Mike about a plaque in the room from us in Byrnsie's memory.
