E Commerce Seminar put on by Stores On Line in Flushing NY 02/20/06
I finally had my own web site up and running by October 5th 2005. I applied to the Google Ads program on a whim on October 7th, and was accepted by October 10th. By October 15th my web site was appearing on the top of most search engines when you typed just my name into the search box with no quotes and no capital letters. I was Intrigued and wanted to take this project further, but I did not quite know how. Then I received a flyer in the mail from Stores On Line. This company sells prepackaged user configurable E Commerce web sites. I went to a preview seminar and from there I got invited to a full day seminar. I had to pay a small fee for this one but it was worth it. I learned a lot web site marketing and promotion techniques that are too hard to acquire from a book. I had no interest in buying their package of 6 pre built web sites for $6000.00. I already knew how to build web sites for less than $6.00 using Dreamweaver and getting the site to the top of most search engines by using my content. I am glad I atteneded it was worth being there the entire day.
