Rutherford Junior High School in Rutherford New Jersey
Back when I went to Brooklyn Tech many of the brownstones were burned out abandoned shells used as shooting galleries by heroin junkies. The junkies would lie in wait for passing students and jump out to attack them for their lunch money and bus passes. They even attacked kids on the subway. I became too afraid to go to a school I did not like anyway. By the way, those abandoned brownstones are all fixed up and sell for almost a million dollars now. Brooklyn Tech is in the Fort Greene section near where they want to build the new Brooklyn Nets Basketball Stadium. It's a ritzy neighborhood today.
Above is the school I went to next. This school was located in a quiet little town in Bergen County New Jersey. My mom sent me here to live with her nephew and his family. His children, my cousins were in the same age group as me so I had a great time. I had to repeat the 9th grade over, so I started out the in the Junior High School section of the building, which you see above.
