This was another secret agent show that was filled with high tech gadgetry that inspired my imagination to ever-higher plains of thought, detail, and realism in my childhood technology drawings. This show was about the escapades of two secret agents Napoleon Solo played by Robert Vaughn, and his partner Illya Kuryakin played by David McCallum, together with their boss Mr. Mr. Alexander Waverly played by Leo G. Carroll, their secret mission activities on behalf of the secretive spy agency called UNCLE was the substance of the plots of each episode. Naturally these agents used some high tech gadgets to help complete each mission. Back when I was a child the cold war between the USA and the USSR was in full swing. Each side was isolated from the other yet each side wanted to know the others secrets. The race to the moon was also going on too at this same time.

Back then based on the circumstances of the world using secret agents equipped with high tech tools to perform espionage and counter espionage seemed to be and entirely plausible strategy. There were lots of TV shows based on this theme, but my favorites were always the ones with gadgets, because they set my imagination on fire.
